30/40 day fast!
Starting a water fast, I’m tired of being sick and lethargic, and fat. I’m 5’5, and I’m 180 pounds. I’m turning into my mom (physically) and nothing terrifies me more given she has multiple health issues and just isn’t the body type I’d like to have so young, or ever. I’m 20 years old, and suffer from asthma/acne/no energy/constant allergies/a lot of body fat/depression/anxiety.. List goes on.
Most importantly, I’d like to ask about my asthma. I’m currently sick right now, I have a cold & it’s making my asthma even worse. Would fasting help with this at all? Would taking medication (as needed, like an emergency inhaler or a pill to relieve a tight chest) interfere with the fast? Should I lay off?
My goal is better health, and of course weight loss while regenerating my entire body. I’m worried about the acidosis that occurs in the beginning stages of the water fasting, and also, electrolytes. Do I need to supplement or will my body have the necessary minerals/vitamins in my body fat? I plan on going 30 days. 40 max, I definitely have enough body fat to supply for AWHILE.
What diet would be best for after the fast? I’m 100% being a vegan, but my dilemma is either raw or regular. I want to focus on building muscle after i’m weaned off the fast.. So i assume regular - cooked vegan?
