I think you are confusing Jesus overcoming sin with sin not being an issue. How are we sinners if sin is not an issue? Can you explain that? if there is no sin or if sin is not an issue or doesn’t matter anymore - we can’t be sinners - every second of every day we make a decision to sin or not - so again - HOW IS SIN NOT AN ISSUE???? Yes Jesus has conquered sin - that doesn’t mean it’s a non issue - why do we have to give an account of EVERY SIN at the judgement? Why doesn’t God just say “it’s all good - sin isn’t an issue.” Because it is an issue. Why does sin and death get done away with after the second coming if sin itself isn’t an issue? I understand that you are saying Jesus overcame sin so we are now covered. That’s Jesus 101 - the reign of Christ counteracts the effects of sin and death - but to say that sin no longer is an issue because of that - that is a nonsensical statement - the SIN that entered the world through Adam caused death - not the SINNER Adam entering the world - why do we have to be born again if sin is a non-issue?? Why does Christ convict the world of SIN if it’s not an issue? Why doesn’t He just say “hey world - sin isn’t an issue” why did Jesus tell the adulteress “Neither do I condemn you; Go and SIN NO MORE”?? Why didn’t He say “Neither do I condemn you; sin isn’t an issue”?? over and over again Christ says “go and SIN no more” not “go, sin isn’t an issue”. WHY? Forgiveness for sin does not mean it’s not an issue! I’m sorry you don’t see it that way and you can try to post the whole Bible to try to prove it - but you are you are in fact doing what you have accused others of - twisting the Word - and making It what you want to believe - the Bible must first be understood grammatically before it can be understood theologically - in other words - we must first determine what the words say before we determine what the words mean - but if you really think you can stand before God and angels at the judgement and say “sin isn’t an issue” you are misguided
