Today is Day 22 of my 30 day fast. It’s been a very difficult fast, I’ve been nauseated almost constantly the entire time. I’ve been unable to do anything for lack of energy. Two days ago I started my cycle which has made me weaker than ever. I feel like there is something caught in my throat, for the past two weeks. I have kept with it because my purpose is to get rid of my menstrual migraines and I feel I should do a complete cycle length of fasting. There are days I’m so weak and exhausted and feel so sick I want to throw in the towel, but I haven’t yet. The last five days I’ve thrown up once each day.
I have eight days to go, and I’m starting to plan my breaking the fast routine. I know many people talked about orange juice/oranges and watermelon, but I’m wondering if grapefruit juice would be okay? My plan is juice/fruit for two days, then broth for a day or two, then slowly on to veggies, cooked then raw. Any suggestions for breaking a long fast are appreciated.
