Childhood coming back to haunt more????

Does anyone know if a tape worm can grow thru out your body if you have had it for a very long time? I believe I may have such a thing. When I was putting toenail fungus lotion in ties it made my right side move and hurt just below my ribs. Not first time this has happened. I have wonderful if I have many or one large. Please if you have heard of something like this before I could really use awnser. So I can figure how to cure my self. The reason I think Tapeworm is this. When I was 2 years old I ate raw bacon hamburger and quite possibly a few bugs. I wasn't well supervised or fed. Come from problem family. I have gotten over it mentally but physical is another story.
