Re: Successfully rid of stubborn plantar mosaic wart

I am a podiatrist, and what that entails varies around the world. But you did all good things, particularly throwing out shoes. I tell people to burn their socks and rinse shoes with Listerine or Canestan or white vinegar.
The real thing is to let your immune system know the warts are there. These HPV viruses (virii) can hide from the immune system. So by creating a wound, called dry needling by podiatrists, we put in local anaesthetic and then stab the verrucae with the needle until it bleeds, Salicylic acid is a chemical burn, then the immune system comes to heal the wound and finds the verrucae, which it can deal with effectively.
All you want for Christmas, birthdays, nameday, saintsdays, is NEW SOCKS. LOL Carole in Australia.
