Re: Can oil pulling cause sores in mouth?

Actually it could be an anime/salicylate allergy. I started upping my coconut oil intake and my mouth was not happy. I have only had canker sores after too much citrus fruit. I then noticed that it also reacted to coffee, chocolate, bananas and bacon. I had switched to a high fat diet with lots of coconut and that’s when the canker sores, strange body odor and headaches started. Not detox as I’ve always eaten healthy and have never had a weight issue and rarely a sniffle. Try out an elimination diet. You can oil pull with organic ghee as well. It’s the fat that absorbs the bacteria. Let me know how it goes..
