Thanks for your reply. Back when I used to have EC my lips were as bad as the worst EC case. You made me feel better by reminding me that I don't have it as bad as other peoples lips but yes it's "better" in a way that I can use my lips normally except that I have to apply a barrier cream overnight and wipe it off the next morning. They also look normal unless you're staring closely but theres still inflammation and the color is also a little off. They're "worse" in a way that now I have no idea how to heal them whereas before with EC I could easily heal them with a spicific product. Every night when I apply Vaseline I'm reminded of this horrible condition and it depresses me even more. I don't want to live like this, man.
I can't simply use products for the inflammation. I've tried anti-inflammatory products and those did nothing. In my experience, the lips need a barrier to heal. I did try keeping the Vaseline/aquaphor on for longer than a day and the next day my lips would be even more inflamed with dead skin that I could pull off.
If I could have completely raw lips again I could just apply Gloves in a bottle and my lips would heal. (I'm only speaking for myself here)
