Starting complete water fast

I'm starting a complete fast in 30 minutes: midnight East Australian time, 29th November, 2017.

I am a 57 year old man: atheist, rationalist; this means that:
-No time for anything purportedly miraculous;
-Anti-new-age, considering most alternative therapeutic "modalities" to be no more than wishful thinking;

While I like women, I am fiercely, defiantly and irremediably anti-feminist.
I do yoga for health; practice zen and hang around horses and dogs for sanity; play chess for the brain.
I pace-walk daily.

103kg/245lbs | 6'1"/186cm.

Hope to lose 45lbs/20kgs.

Here is my shit-list of ailments (and I absolutely expect to be fully cured of them all!)

1. Liver and lung scarring,
2. Digestive woes.
3. Lifelong tinitus, which is worsening,
4. Periodic involuntary limb movement syndrome, which has robbed me of sleep for 45 years,
5. Arthritis in knees, fingers and toes,
6. Severe lower back pain
7. Hypothyroidism
8. Chronic depression/anxiety

Medications:
1. 100mg thyroxine (hypothyroidism)
2. 30mg Cymbalta
3. Small dose of Clonaze (wittling it down to a couple of grains; prescribed for PILMs (periodic involuntary limb movement syndrome)

I don't want to yield to the inertia of these conditions; refuse to bend to the deadly-downward pull of illness and premature aging.

I want the kinds of "therapeutic crises" that the old writers like Upton Sinclair witnessed in 100s of cases of all ages and sizes, involving all kinds of diseases: from liver cirrhosis to incipient bowel cancer and lung disease.

I want to fast until I have burned all the fat (I've got about 50 lbs of extra to burn), until my metabolism starts to consume the dead scarred tissue in my hepper's liver (virus-free now) and my ex-choofers lungs, until processes like autophagy begin to absorb the inflammation in my knees, and I want to arrive at a new beginning with regard to my lifelong addictive behaviour.

That's why I want to fast to completion, only breaking the fast when I experience "true hunger" for the first time in my life.

I'm going ahead as of now, having supped my last meal of toast and marmalade and coffee (yum); off to bed now.

Send me a line if you want some support.
Cheers to all, the faithful and the infidels, especially the latter.
Tex
