Losing weight and getting skinny: how to deal with people?
Hello everyone, i'm on a
Water Fasting for health reasons after studying the instructions given in
Herbert Shelton books, which i have found very promising and close to my personal health-related experience.
Since i started i've felt very weak, being totally unable to function normally, but today (day 10) i'm quite fine and got some strength back.
THE PROBLEM: I was already quite skinny at the start of the fasting (67kg per 1.83m height) and now i'm around 7 or 8 kilograms below that weight, and what worries me is that my face shows it all. I don't look like i'm in starvation, but to people it will be evident that i've lost weight, as my face got slightly but unmistakenly thinner under the cheeckbones.
Unfortunately i'll have to meet some relatives and friends soon, and i'm convinced they will notice and get worried, starting to make questions i don't want to answer to (telling them i'm fasting is out of debate).
The situation will get worse as time passes, as i probably have ahead at least 1.5-2 weeks of fasting.
How should i deal with this "social problem"? Did it happen to you too to have to worry about this? My first worry is i don't want to appear like i have some disease, or drug addiction or even simply "weird".
