Re: pancreas problem after liver flush

Thanks, I will probably do another Liver Flush next weekend.

I would love to do coffee enemas, but since I feel really bad (nerves) from just one cleansing enema (e.g. half a liter of water, immediately released), it cannot be the right thing.
If there is a lot of mucus I also get very thirsty in the night following an enema. Also, while formerly I could let in easily 2 liters of water without problems, there is now always a strong resistance after 0.5 liter, and I think that the gut lining might be swollen at that point.

Unfortunately I don't understand what exactly went wrong. I have done the coffee enema procedure recommended in the GAPS diet about 2-3 times per week for about half a year. Prior to GAPS I have also done coffee enemas but not too often. A stool test prior to GAPS had shown elevated SIgA, I could imagine that now it is even higher.

After I got the impression that I should have added more probiotics to the last enema of a procedure, I tried to do only probiotic enemas (with little water) daily for 3 weeks, but in the end coffee enemas were not tolerable either. So it looks like I have to refrain from any enema for maybe half a year and hope that the gut lining heals.
