Re: Any suggestions
Hi, sorry you have to be here with the rest of us. Have you seen a doctor and done testing for anything? In being in all the forums i've learned a few things and will be testing for them - 1) it could be a condition called tmau aka Fish odor syndrome, it is when the body has a genetic defect and can not break down choline, choline comes in many every day foods such as eggs, avacado, etc.... because the choline can't be broken down it creates bacteria on your body when you consume it and the smell appears. 2) Another person wrote about candida/leaky gut syndrom which is also another good possibility. If you have overgrowth in your gut it can be creating the over production of bacteria which is where the smell can be coming from. I notice my breath is very bad and i think it is from coming from my gut, i brush my teeth religiously and my dentist said i didn't have gum issues so my assumption is it's health issue within my gut like candida/leaky gut. i've had ibs all my life, when i have alot of stress i notice the smell is stronger, this also makes me believe the mind and body is connected and when you have stress, anxiety your hormone levels go out of wack and you are more easy to get stomach issues and bacteria. I also plan on doing a
food allergy test so that I will know what i should or should not be eating before trying any type of diet to help my gut. It's improtant to know if maybe i have gluten/dairy issue. Alot of people have said that removing these have helped them alot. Best of luck, know you are not alone and keep coming here for support. Its nice to have support of other fellow sufferers as every day life people can make you feel so isolated and paranoid if they are making comments, rubbing their noses, etc....
