Re: My Update As Of 09/28/2017
Longterm,
Probiotics are pills that are trying to introduce bacterial cultures into your system.
Prebiotics is the food that the good bacteria eat.
I do remember reading an article stating at how prebiotics are bypassed by the bad bacteria and actually ingested by the good bacteria only.
You do need both but, in the event of an overgrowth you need to introduce more reinforcements to the battle before you can feed them.
The strength of bacteria comes in its numbers. They multiply and adapt very quickly.
I mentioned before that I was going the bacteria vs. bacteria route. I tried yogurt and other probiotic pills but they weren't working. I tried researching which specific strains actually combat yeast but I was only able to get to the conclusive guesstimate of a possible timed release probiotic so, that is what I went with and it caused a positive result for me.
To think that I almost gave up on the probiotic route given the failures I had with other probiotics but, I am glad I stayed the course and stuck to it.
