My lip is very hard where i have ec

Hi, i have ec on half of my bottom lip and have noticed the tissue or whatever is under the skin is very tough.

If i bite the part where i dont have it, its very soft and thin but when i bite on the ec it almost feels like theres something underneath. Does anyone have any idea why or does anyone else have this?

I was thinking under my lip could be some damage which is making the skin peel rather than the other way round. I have no idea what it could be Tweet
