Re: Is Ornithine safe during pregnancy ?

One of the most challenging things about pregnancy is all of the temporary (and, some permanent) changes we experience. Sleep deprivation can be something that is annoying, but it's not going to harm you or your baby.

I would strongly encourage you to do your OWN research into what you will and won't ingest or take during your own pregnancy. What works for one person may not work for another, particularly with the oddball reactions during such a wild hormonal alteration. It's rather reckless to ask for advice, online, in an open public forum in this respect. You could receive very sound and wise suggestions, and you could also receive very dangerous and foolhardy ones, as well. Which will you choose?

Sleep deprivation can be managed for this short time using gentle non-caffeinated teas. Valerian is NOT recommended, during pregnancy. Again, do your OWN research so that you are in control of your own decisions and choices.

Best of luck to you on your new journey.
