regrowing skin, blackhead...recessive gene pool
I know that blackheads are not very important in the grand scheme of things.
But I have to admit, I hate them! I hate looking at them, even on other people, not just my own face.
It's not about aesthetics. I see a blocked pore, and I think, "Poor baby can't breath.
It's suffocating.
Plus the really big ones are stretching the poor little pore!
I also get that feeling when I get my fruits and veggies out of their plastic bags, so they can finally breath.
I was looking through my old pix with huge pores, I was thinking, "I wonder if these blackheads will work themselves out?"
Early on in my detox, my scar by my eye greatly improved. I forget it's there now, and people never swap scar stories with me anymore. (Lots of kids got a scar like this by running into a table when we were little...)
I wondered if skin rebuilds itself enough to push out it's own blackheads. And apparently it does! I didn't change anything in my skincare routine, just like I didn't change my routine when my scar slowly disappeared.
Baby new skin grows from the lowest levels, and works it's way to the top. The bottom layers don't have black heads (or wrinkles). So as long as the old dead layers keep coming off, the blackheads should slough off with it!
Those in the recessive gene pool like me, have pretty good livers. So when we change our diet to more raw plants, our liver cleans up nicely. We often quickly show improvement in our skin.
The liver (one of the most important organs) has to be clean before the body puts energy into skin repair (less vital).
(The white's of our eyes often get really white pretty quick, because our liver now works well)
But those in the dominant gene pool often have backed up livers. So it takes longer to clean out. But be patient. It will be worth it.
The best part of great skin is - it isn't matte. People know that I'm not wearing any foundation because it looks 'peaches and creamy'. I have natural color on my cheeks that you just can't fake. Plus, my eyes, eyebrows and lips really stand out, because there are no other details to look at (like blackheads)
