Regarding eye floaters - yes they come from collagen being deposited into the vitreous humour. I had surgery for mine. There is a surgery that some retinal specialists will do called a vitrectomy that takes out the floaters. For me, it was well worth it. I found a surgeon at St Luke's eye surgery center in Tarpon Springs Florida. St Luke's is a very well known place world over. Top notch.
