Castor oil taste?

Want to deal with pain more effectively and safely?

I'm curious to know why whenever I read about the taste of castor oil it mentions how bitter it is. The oil I use has no taste at all. I've also seen an ad for cold pressed oil by NOW, it also states that it has no taste. I live in Canada - does anyone know if we have different castor oil here? Does the oil without taste have the same healing properties?
