Never assume what raises your BP it might just be what you are eating.
I bought a BP Monitor 10 years ago and found some culprits in my food by taking my BP before a meal then took it again half an hour later and by process of elimination found in my case for instance that Chicken and Baked Beans raised my BP from say 135/85 to 150//92.
I also found that both Sliced Beetroot and Cucumber lowered it.
I also eat salad once a day.
My Monitor was a OMRON M6.
