Re: After a fast, strong lime cravings

Waterlily84,

Good job in accomplishing a great goal. 8 days is a good achievement. Also congratulations on the reset of your eating lifestyle. Keep it up.

Well, what can I say about lime and lemons. I have done so many fasts in my life, many were broken with a lime or a lemon or both. In my many of my fasts I have craved lemons and limes, sometimes oranges and grapefruits. My other fruit I have craved for in my fasts is tomatoes.

I am so crazy at that point when I brake my fast that eat limes and lemons like a whole fruit, just like sliced oranges.

I think that your body is looking for acid creation, but when we eat acidic fruits the effect in our stomach is alkaline.

Your stomach backs up during a fast because it wants to throw out toxins from stomach, liver and gallbladder.
If it happens in your fast again, drink warm water or let it come out.

Good idea to stay vegan, it will heal your body.

Good wishes.
