I actually had a tranny seal problem back when I was a teenager. The seal around the shift linkage on the automatic tranny of my Dodge used to leak like a quart of Dextron II everyday. If I wasn't careful the fluid would get low enough so that the torque converter would slip. That's how I destroyed the 383, I floored the accelerator while fooling around with a friend, the torque converter slipped, the engine redlined for a moment and me and my Challenger limped home. Damn tranny seals.
