CHRONIC CONSTIPATION - long-term and desperate

Hello,

I have chronic constipation that I have suffered with my entire life. I am 24 years old and it is only getting worse. I am regularly hospitalised due to this. I have seen countless doctors, GIs, naturopaths, dietation, psychologists, acupuncturists, etc. I have tried everything and anything (even 'weird' treatments just incase maybe I'll have a miracle). The doctors just say I have 'extreme slow motility' and 'idiopathic colon' and that there is nothing else they can do except have me take moviprep (bowel prep) daily.

I have tried (and still currently taking) dr Schulz IF1 (never had IF#2 as I've never gone near daily on #1). I have taken high doses of it but it dosnt seem to effect me. I have tried taking it all in one go and I have also tried taking them numerous times through the day to see if maybe i needed my bowel to have constant stimulation thinking that may help - didn't work. However, I am not very regular in my dose of taking it - some days I'll get so frustrated and feel so sick that I'll take an extreme dose (eg double of the dose I had been building up to).

I don't know what to do. I am 24 years old but I do not feel like I have been able to 'live' for those 24 years. Constipation/bad digestion has taken away my life and I feel like I am at the very end - I am beyond desperate. My diet is very healthy, I drink more than adequate water.

Any advice at all, please please please.

Thank you
