Peeling lips Help please

Sorry you might be asked this alot but does anyone lips looks like this?

And if so what are some remedies I should try.

I've been using the aloe vera plant and rubbing on my lips but the healing seems to be slow or non existent.

I don't exfoliate lips because it will only give me a temporary relief but not a permanent "cure."

Also I don't use any lipsticks products so is there any natural remedies I can use that works for you?


My lips become raw and they stick on over night, is that normal? And they create these thick patches of "scabs" which is such an eyesore. Is there a way to fix this problem of sticking on to each other? I have a humidifier.

Background:

I have braces so when I go to the orthodontist for my monthly check up its a nightmare.

They pull your lips, stretch, and dry out my lips dramatically and I cry a little in he inside. Whenever my lips seems to be on the way to healing, I have a appointment so it just resets the healing process :C.

Had the braces for 1 year and removing end of this year. I don't wanna remove too early because I don't wanna waste the braces because my parents are really poor.

I also have high school so there's lots of people to talk to and its really embarrassing.

Extra note: I had this problem for 1 year now.

Started around when I had braces on so maybe it has something to do with them.

Also im planning to go see a dermatologist soon. I havn't gone because I read on the forums that they do nothing but give you stuff and it doesn't work but ima just try for myself.
