Well I have to say sweet pea has handled this whole whooping cough ordeal better than I would have thought. She's complained very little about having to be quarantined in the house. The hardest day for her was having to miss her friend's birthday party recently. But she even handled that pretty good. So that has made it easier for me that she has not just been miserable. We never like to see our child miserable, ya know! :)

We usually go to my mom's place to see the fireworks. She lives in a high-rise apartment and we can see the downtown fireworks from there. And then we laugh as we watch the news and they show everyone trying to leave out of there. The amount of people that pile in for the show is always insane. :)

That's nice to be able to see them from your house.

But yeah, the neighbors setting off their own all week, that can get annoying. Probably why I haven't seen the stray cats that have made their home in our yard as much lately. :)
