Re: Iron deficiency ?
Well allow me to clarify...
Whether it's starvation or not- I do not have that answer definitively - might activate something on some people. I don't feel comfortable with giving definite answers but it sounds like that could be the case...
But what I was trying to advise is this:
Time the soaking, planting of ones wheatgrass about 10-7 days out from FINISHING OR COMPLETING the fast... Then by the time one DOES break the fast, one can juice their pretty green wheat grass. They can sleep next to it while fasting for neg ions. They look at it while it grows. It's all medicine.
Having wheatgrass juice on a water-fast negates or corrupts the fast. But breaking it with wheatgrass is wonderful I say add it to many juices. It's yummy with carrot, or beetroot, or apple...
Have a good dose, then a few staggered doses over the course of a month. And if one has the wheat berries they might as well make rejuvalac - fermented wheat drink!
Have some kale/spinach/brocoli after the fast.
Another option is mong/mung sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, lentil and mung dhals are also extremely good for non-animal iron.
If low in iron I would up the B12 and folate too - but the best source of those comes from animals and their products (dairy) so that is an individual thing. I do myself consume animal products when I feel like my body would like to.
