Iodine causing sudden increase in new moles/freckles, worried.

Hi I'm new here.

I began nascent Iodine a few months ago, very slowly 200mcg every other day then increased slowly. I use all the co factors to aid in detoxing.

I realised my Iodine was a couple years old and had evaporated a lot so might not be as effective. I ordered and began using Survival Shield x2 instead and feel it to be superior. I'm now on the recommended dose on the label of 1950mcg and do not intend to super dose as I don't feel it is right for me. I have severe hormone issues (estrogen dominance, low progesterone, endometriosis and some PCOS like symptoms)) and severe depression, anxiety, with suicidal thoughts.

I was deficient in Iodine on a hair analysis plus selenium too, which I thought might explain why I have many hypothyroid symptoms but my tsh and ft4 being normal. The iodine has given me very soft skin which is nice. I also feel a warm sensation occasionally in my feet. However I have had a rapid increase in moles and freckles which is now frightening me. I already had tons of them, more than anyone I've ever seen (I have very unnaturally pale skin, blue eyes, dark honey blonde hair) but they are increasing at a rapid rate! I must have a hundred new ones - I didn't notice them all at first. Some are minuscule dots, others are larger. Previous ones have also slightly darkened/increased in size. I had a couple on the front of my lower legs and now there are an extra ten there in the past week alone.

Does anyone know why this might be occurring? And if I should stop the iodine? I am very scared now since noticing so many new ones as I know my risk of skin cancer is even higher now. I don't want a painful death like that (who on earth does of course!) Plus I dislike them cosmetically anyway. I guess I can't understand how it can be a positive sign of detox when it is a dangerous thing to have, plus not a desirable look. I doubt they will drop off or disappear. I must have hundreds now, it's becoming worrisome.

I used progesterone cream for 2 years and noticed a few new ones but nothing like this. I quit it because it seemed to have good effects but also convert wrongly as well (stimulated estrogen which I couldn't overcome with the cream even on high amounts, plus it messed with my cortisol) so despite it eliminating period pain and helping joint pain, it also caused severe hair loss around my forehead and nape of neck amongst things.

I'm also using calcium d glucarate but I've used that on and off before and do not think that is the problem at all. I'm quite certain it is the iodine affecting my hormones, and quite certain the iodine is responsible for rapid increase of moles/freckles.

I should note I took Accutane with devasting consequences 8 years ago. It may have affected my androgens (I have very unusual kinky hairs mixed in with my normal hair plus it's very dry and awful texture now.) If one has strong hormonal problems is it possible that iodine could harm even further? I know it affects hormones but perhaps it isn't always positively if one has problems.

I also get a tight sensation in my throat where the thyroid is after taking the iodine. There seems to be a lot of conflict over whether this is positive or negative e.g. The thyroid uptaking the iodine or it causing it to swell or something.

I'm in quite a bad place and just hope I'm not damaging myself even further. Any help or experiences are truly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
