Dermatologist

I recently started seeing a new dermatologist who was really good. I provided all my medical reports on my ec and also shared pictures from when they were really bad. She is willing to try new medications and has arranged another consultation in a few weeks and is going to start me on new medication(biological). Which I'm very excited to try.

She is consulting a few of her colleagues about the condition and will begin treatment next consultation.

I know alot of you guys don't like visiting dermatologist but there is so many new treatments and even more becoming available in the near future. I personally think if your not visiting specialist/dermatologist especially those that live in modern western countries like u.s.a you should start considering it. I know a few years ago i was frustrated and didn't have good things to say regarding modern medicine but things have changed and the dermatological scene has over the last couple of years changed and they new have alot more newer approaches and treatments that probably most of us have never heard of.

The fact is now is the time to visit them with an open mind and trial new medications. Im looking forward to what their team comes up with and will update after a couple of months of treatment.

They acknowledged that ec is most likely some form of an immune driven inflammatory condition and stated that the process will be trial and error with modern medicine. They were easy to talk to and very willing to try new treatments which is all i have wanted. Fingers crossed one of them relieves ec symptoms.

Good day everybody!
