The Lord will freely allow anybody who would rather delude themselves with all kinds of fairy tales and myths, etc. instead of getting serious with Him, but He will enable that delusion to be VERY STRONG (it's called the "STRONG DELUSION").

When God was talking to Ezekiel about those who refuse to get serious (Ezekiel 14:4), He told Ezekiel to LAY OFF (don't go rebuke them or even reprove them).

God said "I will answer them MYSELF" (He does that with a STRONG delusion).
