I had bacteria in my blood E. coli plus severe bacterial infections in skin , many with Lyme disease have nematode infections in the strongylida family . I personally was not tested for Lyme disease as my stage 5 disseminated hyperinfection was priority . I took doxy for a year along with wormers b4 blood was clear of bacterial infection , if I had Lyme and didn't know I am sure a years worth of doxy ivermectin albbendaxole and fenben put it to an end .
