Albendazole readily available in Singapore where I'm located. I got 3 days supply of prazi from a specialist after getting cysticercosis. Paid almost $800!

Prazi from my experience is way better than albendazole in my experience. Yet most medical research online says albendazole is better.

So maybe you're right about drug company`s marketing decisions. Practising doctors don't have time to perform tests and neither are they taught to listen to patients. Medical research are controlled by pharmaceutical cartels.

On the 16th day of my horrendous deworming attempt turned nightmare. I too, am looking for a cheaper source of praziquantel.

I did come across a research on nbci that says praziquantel in combination with albendazole has a higher cure rate, over 60%. Don't believe reports of 100% or 90% cure rates. Only doctors who are naive believe in drug company claims of 100%.

These things are being applied in farms around the world. Reports of drug resistance are somehow being ignored.
