Re: When can I start taking probiotics after a water fast?

Hi Archus

Would like to update you.

I ended my Water Fast after 13 days due to a family emergency.

I took milk kefir (20% milk kefir and 80% water) and had two glasses, sipped slowly. This was at night.

Result: After 4 hours, I had a mild skin itch and a mild headache. So will never do this again!

The next day, I took probiotics in the morning. Watermelon for lunch. A lettuce leaf for dinner and had some kimchi. After eating the kimchi, I felt a bit hungry, and had 3 tablespoons of rice with 1 cm of fish fillet. Then peppermint tea. Lastly, another capsule of probiotics before sleeping.

Result: Everything's fine. No bloating at all.

Today, I took a capsule of probiotics. at around lunch time, half cup of tea with soy milk. Had a bowel movement. 3 hours after this, some watermelon. Dinner time, had some noodles (4 tablespoons, more fat than the rice yesterday) and kimchi. An hour after dinner, I felt itchy again - like an allergic reaction. I normally wouldn't have an allergic reaction to what I ate.

So I think I need a liver flush. Seems like my liver cannot handle what I'm eating yet.

When can I start doing a liver flush?

When can I start Water Fasting again?
