Re: Colloidal Silver for Diverticulitis Flare?

No, it did not. I realize that there might be some backlash to this, but Colloidal Silver is a wonderful product for multiple issues, but sometimes an Antibiotic is necessary.

One of the things that we don't often discuss on this site is that some prescribed medications are a godsend for certain conditions and situations. I don't agree with most prescribed medications, but Antibiotics can be lifesavers.

I knew of someone who had a bowel issue that she let go for many, many months until she developed ulcerative colitis. This condition could have been easily managed before it became dire simply by going to the doctor, getting some Antibiotics , and changing her diet. That simple. Of course, with the Antibiotics , PROBIOTICS is mandatory (yogurt).

For me, I've had to pay very close attention to my diet and nutrition intake - NO raw foods, but WHOLE foods as often as possible. Both my Certified Natural Doc and nutritionist have explained why raw foods and veges are not helpful to my digestive system - or, anyone else's for that matter.

SO.......fiber, whole foods, easy on dairy and sugar, and get antibiotics if you need them before things get out of hand and you have a stretch of your intestine or colon removed like the gal I knew did. Not pleasant, at all.
