Progress!: Leaving My Lips Alone

I've left my wounded/scabbing lips alone for 9 days, leaving the scabs on as long as I possibly could. I have soaked my lips in water whenever they felt dry, and held any peeling part of the scabs down with manuka honey or creme. Also, I recently began applying aloe vera on the top of my scabs (straight from the plant).

My bottom lip is definitely healing! My left and right scabs fell off a few days apart and the underlying skin was nowhere near as red or sticky. New scabs are forming there but the condition of the skin is substantially better.

I will have an update once these new scabs fall off.

The leave alone method definitely works if your condition was like mine: caused by dryness, lip-licking, and cracking. I do not have candida or any other health issues.
