Is water fasting safe for women with high body fat and very low muscle mass?

I am planning to start a 30-Day water fast, but I'm concerned whether my current level of fitness will negatively affect the experience.

I have a 35% body fat percentage, which is pretty high. I've never been the athletic type, so I doubt I have much muscle mass at all.

I've read that the body will burn all of its FAT storage first before it even begins to eat away at the muscles. However what will happen to someone like me who barely has any muscle at all? Is it still safe to assume my body can handle the fast?

Should I do weight training first to build some muscle, just in case?
