7 weeks pregnant is Epsom salts safe to take orally?

Hello! I'm 7 weeks pregnant and due to feeling quite queasy have been eating more than I usually would including bread that I would normally eat and know my body doesn't like.

Normally I would do an Epsoms salt cleanse to flush out my digestive system, (1.5 tablespoons dissolved in boiled water) but unsure how safe it is so early on in my pregnancy.

I know epsom baths are good too, but not sure how much my digestive would utilise/absorb?

I also take magnesium supplements when I feel I need too, so maybe I should try these first?

Has anyone got any tips? Done it before?

My instinct says orally it would only cleanse my whole system (including womb area) but not sure if it maybe too harsh at such an early stage?

Many thanks in advance for your replies 😘
Laura
