Disappointed with Modern Medical Professionals

Now obviously that title is very broad, but currently I am outraged specifically with my doctors. 1 week ago on Tuesday, May 2nd I met with my nurse practitioner to seek medical supervision during my water fast, of course they didn't recommend it but she did agree to meet back up with me 1 week from then. On my way out I had bloodwork done. Today, May 9th I had gone back hoping that I'd be able to get more bloodwork done to check my electrolytes and make sure I'm still in good condition to continue this fast. When I got there today I had met with my nurse practitioner briefly and then my doctor had come in. He basically told me that if I did not stop my Water Fast immediately that they were dropping me as a patient for the remainder of my water fast. The reason why, and he even said this! If I were to die suddenly they don't want to be a target for a lawsuit. They would rather not involve themselves legally then take care of a patient that completely confided in them and trusted them for care taking.
