What do you think about scar creams?

I've been hearing so many things about scars creams, good reviews and bad reviews. I'm thinking for the people who tried these creams it didn't work because of their skin type and the reason why it did work for some people is because their scar isn't so severe.

As you can see I'm not sure what to think.
