just use water only, dont put any stuff on your lips it will just make them worse. you have to keep them wet with water periodically throughout the day by drinking water and getting them wet. it will rehydrate the skin and the skin will recover. i healed mine this way and its been a year since i peeled, although i do get a little flake now and then i dont leave it on i just....you know. dont lick your lips or pick at them this was my problem, i licked them all day long i though that was how to heal them, it kept the crusts at bay by desolving them but it was desquamating the skin. really plain old water is the way to heal them, logically. they will improve quickly but also slowly. if you have sebum or white heads around your cheeks you will know what im talking about, if you squeeze them they just get worse, but if you dont squeeze them for 6 months they eventually go away. to stop the peeling just use plain water and dont let that stuff build up on there for no reason, when it gets all soft and mushy and it will just fall off with the water. i avoided water for years, but now i have found that water was the actual answer.
