Re: which parasites cause the itch?
Update on my situation.
First off, There's some good news. I took one dose of Moxi, (.4mg/kg) Monday night and it feels like about 50 to 60% of the worms were knocked out from one dose. The ones remaining were hardly moving for a couple of days but are now gradually gaining strength back. I wonder if all of them would've been killed if I had taken a stronger dose. My next dose isn't for another 2-3 weeks.
Before the Moxi, I was taking Alb everyday with a couple days of Ivm. These drugs never feel like they are doing anything for me beyond the first day or two of taking them. I wonder if my liver is just getting rid of them too quickly for them to be of any use.
Sunday night, the night before I took the Moxi, I had my worst night ever. woke up 4 times:
- First time felt like my lungs were full of tiny moving things.
- Second time woke up with my throat and nostrils itching badly.
- Third time anal itching
- Fourth time something moving down my right nostril. Pinched it down hard and ran to the bathroom but don't know if I managed to get it. There was just an unrecognizable blob, maybe a smashed worm or maybe just mucous.
Since I started treating this time around, the worms have been on hyper breeding mode, laying eggs several times a night and sometimes during the day. I hope this means they're dying and trying to increase the population quickly. After my dose of Moxi, there was no activity for 3 days, now they are back to once or twice a night.
I've been using the Vix Vapor Rub on my bottom at night but they go past it and lay eggs farther out. I'm thinking about putting some Moxi gel there instead.
The two worms in my scrotum have slowed down but still alive and moving around every day. They're incredibly tough. I may have to use a cattle drench to get those two.
Overall, I think things have turned around for me this week. I've never had better results from anything before so I think the Moxi will be what I need as long as they don't grow resistant to it.
For now I'm hopeful.
Good luck to all of us!
