Vitamin D

First time on this forum. I am interested in taking about 2,000 I.U. of Vitamin D and K and whatever else is beneficial. I don't want one made in a lab (synthetic) with unsafe fillers. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. I take Garden of Life Women 40 plus multivitamin. It is made from whole raw foods. It has 1,000 I.U. of Vit. D. which I don't believe is enough I.U. to get my levels up. I had my Vitamin D level tested and it was 37. My conventional doctor says that is good, but from what I read (Dr. Mercola is my favorite resource) the number should be about 50.

Thanks!

Karen
