Is the Elisa test diagnostic on old cases or partially treated cases?

Sharkman, do you think the Elisa test is useful even after a patient has taken Albenza and ivermectin? Also if the patient has had this in their system for many years? I definitely believe I have the symptoms. I even had staph infection on buttocks 3 months ago. I did ask 2 doctors if they thought it might be strongyloidiasis and they said no. One of them laughed and said no. But a third doctor was open to the possibility. She wouldn't treat it though because she is a dermatologist.
