Re: need help please.
Hi. I would be careful of the E. Hysto diagnosis, as there are other similar bugs that fit the same morphology (likeness).
Infection with E. Hysto will usually result in acute symptoms, like persistent diarrhea, with mucus. You will expel what may feel like egg whites.
There is almost always red blood cells in stool, and in most cases neutrophils (white blood cells).
As for Blasto, you can be normal most times, but have cycles of symptoms that can be quite intense at times.
I think Blasto is at the heart of many IBS cases, and it can also bring with it co-infections with candida (in some cases). Almost always results in dysbiosis.
The
Antibiotic treatment you listed is proper for both problems mentioned, and could be effective against H. Pylori, which could be another factor hiding about (easier to diagnose though).
Taking high potency enzymes with meals help me, and are recommended for irritable gut. I would try both probiotics and antifungal supplements with your regime. The alterations of gut flora can be an adjustment during
Antibiotic prophylaxis.
And one more note: in many of these cases, we should not rule out viral causes, as these can sometimes be cyclically involved as well.
