Candida overgrowth

My 28 year old son has candida overgrowth. He is already taking supplements and is on a healthy and strict diet. Of course I am a parent and am still worried about him. I know he is far from out of the woods, and has a long way to go. He has already lost 40 pounds. I would just like to hear a doctor tell me that he is going to live a normal and healthy life again.
