We get bombarded with positive charge from modern day invention with electricity. This constant bombarding of positive charge hurts every cell in the body. Simply going barefoot on the ground or touching plant life with bare hands takes away all positive charge. All animals are happy this except for the two legged ones wearing shoes with rubber soles.
