Here's the article I was talking about, down below. It's a little long and I haven't read it all yet myself yet. So I'm just throwing this out here but not saying this is where I stand, not yet at least.

But according to the writer of the article's view, what I'm gathering so far at least, is that the Popes (all of them) would be anti-christs but so would a whole lot of others. But Satan is "the anti-christ", and all those who are anti-christs (plural form) are those with Satan's spirit working in them to do his bidding:

"Antichrist works (and has worked) throughout time within men whom he uses to do his bidding. For He is that spirit Satan."

1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1 John 2:18
18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
