Lectins and RLS

Hi. I *think* I'm in the RLS forum....what I want to report is that I FINALLY found my own personal cause, that I can control.
It is foods containing lectins. Which are, unfortunately, mostly grains and legumes. Which I have learned to avoid totally. Since I was already gluten free, no big deal. One has to look up food lists and start experimenting. I'm very, very sensitive so I eat basically vegetables and meat. Since I also have a problem with foods containing histamine, sometimes I can't tell what is causing what, and histamine (also have to look up food lists) may also be a factor. It definitely is a factor in my mood....if I eat high histamine foods, I wake up just ready to bite everyone's head off. If I am good at avoiding histamine foods, I wake up feeling like my sweet self.
I think my acquired problem with lectins came after intestinal damage from a long term undiagnosed toxic mold exposure, which damaged quite a few organs in my body. I'm still working on fixing my gut; Restore helped a lot, Primal Defense ultra helps, and just a few days ago I started taking some Enzymedica enzymes, because a friend of mine said they helped a lot with her reactions to high histamine foods.
That's all....best to everyone. I just wanted to get this out there in case it helps someone.
