Re: Detoxadine severe/rapid weight gain.
If by sipping you mean drinking small amounts of water, that won't help your kidneys function. The usual recommendation is to drink at least half your body weight in
pounds as
ounces of water. For instance, weighing 130
pounds would call for a minimum of 65
ounces of water -- 2
quarts -- up to 3
quarts or so. You'd want about 1/8-1/4 tsp of unprocessed salt per
quart. After starting that, it would take about 4 days to see any results, though you should start peeing more often before then.
I usually use the lower amount of salt.
I've never taken nascent
Iodine and have no frame of reference for a reaction to 2 mg of it. It's been mentioned many times on the forum, though, so if you haven't already, you might search on nascent
Iodine plus your worst symptom. Maybe someone's had the same response before.
Since the bloating started the same time as your progesterone levels should have been their highest, it makes me wonder whether you have estrogen dominance. High levels of estrogen without enough progesterone are definitely known to cause water retention. B vitamins, magnesium, Vit A, and Vit D are all possible support supplements for you.
