Easy tips to sleep better


A chi machine!

You lay on your back on a hard surface, and put your ankles into two dips, and the machine gently moves your ankles back and forth together. Because your legs are moving, your whole body rocks back and forth.

The designer of this machine studied goldfish. The way they swim looked very calming. He thought it may be helpful for humans to relax.

And it sure works. I use mine for 10 minutes before I go to bed. The times I don't use it, I notice I don't fall asleep as fast, or as deep.

I wear a sleep mask when I use it, and the sleep cycle starts while I am on the machine. I'm starting to fall asleep. I also always use it when I'm grounded.

The benefits include more than sleep though. It moves your lymph around very quickly.

I found this machine especially useful when I was at my sickest. Because I could barely exercise without crashing for many, many days, I worried about my circulation and lymph not moving around like it should.

Since I was not exercising, or able to go outside for so long, I knew my oxygen would be low.

All these things would harm my immune system, accumulating even more bad bacteria and parasites.

And we know, not exercising gives you very poor sleep. So the chi machine not only helped me relax more before bed, but helped my troubled immune system. This is one of the most practical machines for someone who is bedridden.

Go to bed before 10pm!

Many experts say we need 8 hours sleep. But this isn't completely accurate. We need several cycles of sleep.

A sleep cycle is 70-90 minutes long. The most important cycles happen before midnight. So if you go to bed early enough, you could have 2 cycles before midnight.

This is by far the most refreshing sleep. We will later talk about how diet affects sleep.

As I've been detoxing, sometimes I need more sleep. My alarm is always set for 7am.
When I need it, I get 9 hours sleep.

I also noticed during the worst of my detox, that WHEN I fell asleep greatly affected how much I slept.

If I went to bed at 11pm, I would sleep 8 or 9 hours!

If I went to bed at midnight, which didn't happen very often, I would sleep til 10am, that's 10 hours! And I would still wake up feeling exhausted.

Like it or not, sleep before 10pm anti-ages us, detoxifies us, literally gives us beauty sleep and gives us the energy that we deserve.

At the beginning you may feel like a little kid going to bed so early. But you'll get used to it.

Turn off the power if possible to the room you sleep in, or at least some of it.

Your body cannot go into that deep restorative sleep with EMF talking to every cell- all night.
Our bodies are electrical, and our cells communicate electrically as well.

The worst setup to bombard your body with bad EMF is to sleep with your head next to a wall with electricity running through it.

And worse than that is if a conduit line from outside is actually running through your bedroom wall.

I personally plugged in a radio into the sockets next to our bed, and with music blaring. Then I tested each breaker switch until the radio didn't have power.

Our whole bedroom could not be shut off because then we would have no power in the hallway. But we could turn off two walls that we sleep next to. And I keep my head as far away from the electrified walls as possible.

I have experimented with the electricity off or not while I sleep grounded. Even though grounding brings your EMF down to almost 0, I still found I slept better with the electricity off, compared to on.

There is so much we don't know or understand fully, sometimes it is just better to go with the results, even if you don't have a good explanation.

So if you have no electricity in your bedroom, you can't have an alarm clock right by your head either. Just use a battery operated one.

But before you know it, you will be up with the little birdies, hours before you really need to anyways.

And please don't use your Cell Phone as an alarm. The microwaves from a phone are even worse than AC electricity.

We all know what microwaves were designed for, to cook food. And they do it by exciting the water in food so that it vibrates and heats up.

So how can a microwave Cell Phone possibly not heat up the water in our ear and brain?

Many specialists say this EMF also affects us during the day and late in the evening.

Many people think it's strange how they feel so tired on the computer or in front of the TV in the late evening, but then when they try to sleep, they can't.

It's because radiation not only tires us out, but messes with every hormone that helps us sleep.

That's why my Dad sat so far away from the TV. He spent most of his life not being radiated, and he could feel how unhealthy the TV was.

Don't sleep in an outhouse!

What in the world am I talking about?

Well, you probably know an outhouse is usually on an older farm or campsite. It's just a little building where people go to the washroom. It's a hole where people's pee and poo just piles up.

It smells horrible.

So what does that have to do with sleep?

Well, when you sleep with a closed window, you are breathing in your own toxins.

Our body's big way of dumping toxins is through breath. So you should always be breathing clean, fresh air.

Besides avoiding these toxins, the other benefit is: breathing cool, fresh evening air is so cleansingly beneficial.

The highest number of negative ions in the air is between 3am and 5am. Remember, negative ions also come from being grounded.

Negative ions are our friends!

Animals are constantly getting their full share of negatively charged anti-oxidants.

It's us humans that have figured out a way to surround ourselves with positively charged, free radicals and radiation.

But if we live like animals do, we would not be anywhere near as sick. Actually, all the steps I'm discussing is to undo the damage the modern world is doing to us.

Essentially, these steps just make us live like animals do. Doesn't sound glamourous, but animals have instincts to live like they were meant to.

We lost our instincts.

If your PH is still really low, sleep may still be bad.

Most people are low in magnesium.

As you green juice daily, your magnesium will go up. Magnesium is part of the chlorophyll molecule.

You may be wondering why doctors don't tell us we are low in magnesium? It's because they only test our blood work. Blood needs to stay in the 7.2 range or you're dead!

So testing blood for magnesium is useless. The bodily fluid you need to check is saliva.

Some people also check their urine. Acidity goes up and down based on meals. I find saliva more accurate.

As your saliva becomes more acidic, it shows your body is taking alkalinity from our teeth and bones. But our tissues, organs and all body systems need these minerals.

If your PH is really low, you can buy magnesium oil.

When my PH was 4.5, I knew something had to change very quickly because I would get cancer.

Cancer lives in low oxygen, highly acidic environments. Being sick, I didn't exercise so I knew my body was low in oxygen.

I experimented with Sea Salt , because it is high in minerals. This only made me sicker and I drank double the amount of water I usually would - about 10-15 cups a day.

I knew quickly this was not natural and only stressed out my kidneys and bloated me.

I also tried potassium bicarbonate therapy. This is a form of baking soda but instead of sodium it is potassium. It is extremely high PH.

Many people have used it to raise their PH, especially when they had cancer, so I tried.

This raised my PH to 6.2, but also made me very sick. I now know that, low PH means you lack all minerals.

But your PH raising, could mean you have lots of one mineral, but not all the ones you need.

I have a friend who has 7.2 PH saliva. However, he has receding gums.

This means he has osteoporosis of his skull and jaw. The reason is: he is low in calcium, and has been for years, as long as his teeth have shown problems.

So his perfect 7.2 saliva may be registering the high amount of sodium in his diet.

It's not healthy to take minerals individually. Plants have the perfect ratios of minerals for our bodies.

I also tried every calcium/magnesium pill on the market. Lots of money later, my PH did not change.

What did raise my PH was eliminating acid from my body - removing chemicals from my life, lowering stress, green juicing, and taking mineral supplements.

If you're still not sleeping, you may be low in magnesium. Magnesium oil was a quick fix for my sleep problems.

I know I said it's not good to use minerals individually, but I did find that using magnesium oil made me sleep when my PH was very, very low.

Interestingly though, it didn't raise my PH. I don't have all the answers why.

On a wet torso, after a bath or just add a bit of water, you rub magnesium oil before bed.

Take a hot bath.

This calms our nerves and makes us sleep. Our grandparents often added Epsom Salt (which is magnesium) to a warm bath to induce sleep.

I sometimes add magnesium salt (not with any added fragrance mind you) to my bath water.

By the time I've absorbed so much magnesium, I can barely make it to bed.

Taking hot baths before bed also helps you sleep in another way. As your body cools, it also makes you sleepy.

I take hot candlelit baths before bed almost every night. Candle light has a calming effect on the nervous system. Too many people have bright lights on right up until bedtime, and wonder why they can't sleep.

We produce melatonin in the dark. So taking a candle lit bath before bed, gives us an hour jump start of melatonin production.

This time in the bath away from your laptop also keeps your EMF exposure down just before bed.

Hot baths also give us our daily detox.

But please, this must be fluoride and chlorine free water. If you have fluoride in your water, and you take hot baths, it will only make you older, sicker and miserable.

If you are already sick, this is the first step in major improvement in your health- avoiding this fluoride.

Fluoride sits in your pineal gland, stopping you from making melatonin to sleep. You will never get better without vital sleep. I used reverse osmosis water to sponge bath for 2 weeks, and found my sleep greatly improved.

Then I started taking extremely fast showers, washing my hair in the sink with reverse osmosis water.

Eventually they took fluoride out of our water, so I'm back to hot baths and loving it.

If you live in a very hot country where you sweat all day, and take a couple showers just to keep clean, it may seem inconvenient, but it is so vital for awesome health, and a gorgeous face and body!

Be grateful!

One of my favourite lines in Jane Austen books is:
"Hot weather keeps one in a constant state of inelegance"

It may be inelegant, but it's so healthy!

But if the climate doesn't allow you to sweat, and you can't take hot baths because of the fluoride, I would look into a portable home sauna.

It's just a little tent that you sit under, with your head out in fresh air. A small container of water heats up and makes the air inside very warm, so you sweat. But to me, nothing beats a hot bath!

Sometimes, I sweat so much, I'm dying of thirst. I will always prefer hot baths because they are so relaxing as you go through your detox.

You may find that you leave a ring around the bathtub. This is toxic garbage- good riddance!

But sweating is only beneficial if you're getting enough minerals, ALL 60. Without that step, you're just making yourself sicker, older, and you will be prone to disease. You need these minerals.

Green juicing and supplementing with your 60 minerals comes BEFORE sweating.

I also wanted to add, if you are a coffee addict, please try limit it to as little as possible, and as early in the day as possible. Most people need it just to wake up because they are so tired. But as you detox, you will start waking up feeling wonderful.

Coffee is bad for us for a couple of reasons. It does keep us awake at night. But also, it's acidic, so your body uses it's own alkalinity to neutralize it. Our goal is to get our alkalinity to go up, right?

My bad news is, as your body becomes cleaner, caffeine will be extremely powerful. One cup of coffee when you are detoxed will feel like 10!

And many people use coffee so they can go poo! They use it as a laxative.

If you're green juicing and getting your minerals, you may not need coffee. Your colon should be happy without any laxative.

But ALL the changes you make for your health will be SOOOO worth it!
