Are Candida and Gingivitis connected

I floss my teeth less than I usually should, like every other day or sometimes skip a couple of days. But most of the time when I floss, my gums bleed! So I looked it up saying why they bleed after flossing and it turns out I might have gingivitis, and the cause of it is bad bacteria, I know for a fact I have candida and bad bad bacteria is linked with Candida but not so sure if gingivitis and Candida are linked together?
