I'm not exactly in the same boat. I've had this thing for more than 2 years now, and everything I've done has either had no effect or made my lips worse. What I'm telling you is to never give up. Your positive attitude is the only way we can keep it together. Always be thankful that you could always have had it worse. Sure this might be a cosmetic problem, but at least it's not life threatening. Never give up hope and go back to the derm, I didn't get my EC from accutane so I can't really help you with this.
