what happened to Collapsed view option?
As of today, 2/7/17, all posts (example - Trapper forum) in the forum I visited so far today, are expanded, what I consider part of changes you have been constantly making the past several months. The thing us, up til this morning, I was usually able to click this that the other to disable expanded view but do far today I no longer see an option to click - like Old or Collapse - that allows me to see the familar old style view of listing forum posts by their subject "header" .
I even went to Account Settings (have nit fooled around there for years) and tried fiddling parameters hoping to find an option that allows the Old view to return, to no avail.
FWIW, as of late last night, the default view of Trapper forum had all posts collapsed ( which I prefer). What is up with this?
Given the basic purpose of cookies and similar invisible web page hosting activity, can you not have a cookie that gets set to " leave this user's view at default Old Collapsed view", this cookie gets set once and remains in force until the user informs or clicks a new feature approval accordingly?
FWIW, I get your prerogative to constantly freshen the view of your site's pages with display options users might (operative word - might) want to try. What I do not get is the revolving door chase for users who want to stay locked in to the Old style forum view.
Thank you.
